Rebuilt & restored original vintage Mini Cooper single SU HS2 carb, intake manifold & air cleaner assembly. This assembly may also fit the Mk I  & Mk II, clubman or van 848cc or 998cc engines. Check your application for fittment.

The carb was completely disassembled, all metal parts cleaned then replated clear zinc & the aluminum carb parts i.e carb body, suction chamber & air piston slide were Micro-polished (inside & out) to bring back the finish to like new or better. The carb was then fully rebuilt using NEW parts: throttle shaft & throttle disc, float, float valve & pivot pin, air piston return spring, correct vintage jet tube assemble & meetering needle, suction chamber & float bowl lid retaining screws and all seals & gaskets.

The carb was then bench tested for leaks & correct air/fuel flow on a carb flow bench.

The carb has all of the original cold weather heaters that are restored and in excellent condition.

The intake manifold & carb to air cleaner adapter were both Micro-polished inside & out and are in excellent condition. The throttle cable bracket has been replated.

The air filter assembly has been bead blasted to bare metal then powder coated gloss black. There are no rust pitting or dents. No air cleaner element is installed. Very hard to find in this condition.

The assembly is ready to mount and run with minor tuning i.e. idle speed & mixture as usual. I can help the winning bidder with the tuning if required.
